NIRMA is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors elected by the general membership. It is the responsibility of the Board of Directors to establish NIRMA policies, development strategic planning, and provide management oversight.
In order to be eligible to serve as a Board of Directors member, the individual must hold a current elected, appointed or active employment position in a member county. Terms are for three years and the number of terms an individual may serve are unrestricted.
